Trust (F4T)

Just a little Food for Thought!  The ones that find it MOST difficult to trust are usually the ones in the relationship that can’t be trusted.  Either 1. they are doing dirt because it’s their nature and they are not ready to let go of bad habits, or 2. they are doing dirt because they are punishing the current for the mistakes of someone in the past.

Tips for College

Most of those that follow me on Tumblr have already graduated from an undergrad program or are in the midst of completing one.  This may actually still be helpful for you, but is geared toward my younger friends who read via Facebook.

Recommendations from a Recent University Graduate:

STUDY ABROAD!  Exposure to other cultures will change your view of the world around you.

If you play sports, earn a merit based scholarship and simply walk on to the team of your choice.

Keep in touch with your family while you are away.  Some people will target you if you make it known that you don’t “check in” with anyone.

Focus on your books, for friends will fade after graduation just as they did after high school.

Be responsible for teaching yourself what your teachers do not.  This will give you the upper hand when you enter the work world, because you will truly understand your role and how to fulfill your duties.

For those at larger schools, GO TO CLASS (even if they don’t take attendance).

For those at smaller schools, don’t mind the rumors.  The people that start them will still be trying to graduate when you have passed that step in your life.

And remember to make time for fun!  There is nothing wrong with “dancing your pain away” (…I got a problem)!

Like this post via Tumblr, Twitter, or FB then listen to the song I’m posting after just in case you need to dance your pain away now.
